Sierra Wireless is expanding the wireless world with a comprehensive offering of hardware, software, and M2M Cloud Services for machine-to-machine applications.

The Sierra Wireless AirVantage™ Platform provides Subscription Management capabilities to M2M customers on Verizon’s cellular networks and leverages the nPhase platform through Verizon’s Machine to Machine Management Center. AirVantage Subscription Management connects to Verizon and nPhase Wireless Networking Services through an application programming interface (API) and allows Verizon customers to develop business-specific applications using nPhase’s Unified Web Services software developer kit (SDK).

The AirVantage M2M Cloud Platform is a secure, cloud platform that enables M2M solution providers, and system integrators to rapidly develop, deploy, and operate M2M applications and services.  The AirVantage Platform includes comprehensive applications to manage cellular subscriptions and wireless devices with their attached assets; a powerful set of M2M application development tools; and an open web services API. The AirVantage Platform lets wireless network operators extend operational self-support, application development, and management capabilities to their M2M integrators and customers. The core of the AirVantage Platform is a scalable and secure M2M infrastructure services oriented architecture (SOA) platform, hosted in an IBM network operations center.
