TIA 2011 - Speakership
CEO Steve Pazol and SE Director Warren Westrup will be speaking at TIA 2011.
TIA Now's Abe Nejad spoke with Steve Pazol in regard to innovating standards, discussing how standards are enhancing interoperability and allowing for faster innovation and growth. > See the Video
Steve will be discussing Embedded Customer Service, a new economic model in M2M applications. If a device loses network connectivity, customer support personnel often lack the needed diagnostic data to solve the problem efficiently and cost effectively. Because M2M ARPU's pale when compared with handsets, averaging $10 a month against $50, the result is often an economic model for M2M customer support that either operates in the red or falls short of the promise of "The Internet of Things." Steve will explore these challenges in M2M and present solutions. > See the Video
Warren will be speaking about smart wireless devices adding to the burden on mobile broadband networks and how carriers must assure service delivery to these business customers. In industries, such as healthcare, where functioning and communicating smart devices can mean the difference between life and death, service delivery assurance takes on an entirely new meaning. Optimizing mobile networks to assure service delivery to smart wireless devices will take on increasing importance as smart devices flood mobile broadband networks.
